Hawkins Hunting Academy

Central Indiana Traditional Hunting

Teaching the Fundamentals of Woodsmanship

We are a company that is all about traditional hunting, the ethics behind it, stewardship, and above all enjoying being in the woods.
Your brain is the best tool you have to find and outsmart your quarry from a whitetail buck to a rabbit.
Outsmarting an animal is winning the game, harvesting an animal is a true gift that deserves and commands respect from you the hunter.

My name is John Hawkins,

I am the son of Philip Hawkins, who owned and operated Hawkeye Archery in Franklin, IN. As a certified Bear Archery dealer he also developed a friendship with Fred Bear himself.

My father, Philip Hawkins
I’m passing down the knowledge from a true woodsman that I learned from.

Everything that you can legally hunt in Indiana I have harvested several times over the years, including Bucks, Rabbits, Turkeys, Squirrel, Beaver, Quail, Pheasant, Geese, Fox, Coyote, and Ducks.
